Hi, I'm Gail Chianese, and the person behind Ink & Precision Editing. You're probably wondering why should you choose I&PE over another company or individual. Good question.

For one, I'm a writer just like you. You might not write novels like me, but our world revolves around the written word, and I know the importance of getting it right.

Besides being a multi-published author in several genres, I've judged numerous writing contests over the years. I've also been nominated for several prestigious awards including Romance Writers of America's Diamond Heart, the Holt Medallion, the Book Buyer's Best, the National Excellence in Storytelling Awards, and the National Excellence in Romance Fiction Award, which means I understand story structure, the importance of grammar while being creative, and how impossible it is to edit or proofread your work.

I'm also a lifelong reader who loves everything from Historic Fiction to Mystery/Suspense to Cozies to Urban Fantasy to all genres of Romance.

Before that, I spent eighteen years as an associate publications editor. My kids used to say that I graded the teachers' papers. While that is technically not true, I did proofread their research and academic abstracts.

While I'm still a writer, I've now branched out into freelance editing and proofreading specializing in a diverse range of content. What sets me apart from the rest is my extensive experience and expertise in the field.
